On November 24th, REGUA and the Municipal Council for Rural Development - CMDR-, organized together with Professor Aroldo Ferreira Lopes Machado and his students from Rural Federal University in Rio (UFRRJ), a training session for farmers from several rural communities. Municipal Agriculture Department representatives were also present at this meeting.
The course focused on the practice of pesticide control, which included recommendations on the use of protective clothing.
