For each species there is detailed text that includes taxonomic nomenclature, distribution and flight period, along with key characteristics for identification. With 37 colour plates illustrating all species with dorsal and ventral faces, for both males and females, plus over 120 colour photos showing many of the hawkmoths in their natural resting positions.
