All prices are per room per night and include breakfast, a cooked lunch (or a packed lunch for full day walks), evening meal, juice drinks, mineral water, transportation to and from the trails (where necessary), WiFi internet access and refreshing caiperinhas each evening.
Rates for 5 or more nights receive a 5% discount.

Transfer service
REGUA is not the easiest place to find, and we recommend that visitors use our mini-bus transfer service to and from the airports or hotels in Rio de Janeiro. The bus can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people and the cost can be shared between all passengers if there is group travelling together. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require this service.

Note that it may not always be possible to collect visitors arriving at the airport very late in the evening, in which case visitors will be advised to stay in one of the airport hotels and will be collected early the following morning.
Guides
We have two experienced local guides who know the birds, wildlife and trails extremely well, and any walks will be far more productive if accompanied. While it is wise to pre-book the guides, we cannot guarantee their exclusive availability and visitors may be asked to group together.
In addition to our local guides, we employ one to three English speaking volunteer guides to assist during the peak season. Volunteer guides are trained to lead birdwatchers around the wetland and surrounding forest trails.

Excursions
Excursions to birdwatching sites and tourist attractions outside REGUA can be arranged in advance or during your stay at the lodge. We have five standard birding excursions off reserve where you can explore a variety of different Atlantic Forest habitats and the birds found there. A minimum of three people is required for an excursion to run, and the price includes a guide, transportation, a driver, tolls and entrance fees (where applicable).
